Taht Was Easy Button We Are Farmers

In Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Studs are the currency you'll need to upgrade abilities and unlock other things. Our Lego Star Wars : The Skywalker Saga Stud farming guide explains how to get tons of Studs quickly.

How to earn Studs in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

The Studs in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga have four rarity tiers: white, yellow, blue, and purple. If you manage to acquire a lot in a mission (i.e., represented by a bar at the top of your HUD), you'll reach the "True Jedi" tier.

Here are the ways you can earn Studs in the game:

  • Damaging enemies. The opponents that you defeat will reward Studs based on a multiplier that increases when you land successful hits and combos.
  • Destructible environments and objects. Crates, posts, obstacles, control panels, and all sorts of items can be destroyed, subsequently causing Studs to appear.
  • Stud rings. During flying missions, you can pass through rings to collect Studs in mid-air.
  • Lightsaber clashes. Jedi and other characters that use lightsabers could clash during a fight. Mashing the corresponding button will increase the multiplier and Studs gained.

Stud-related upgrades and extras

There are several methods to boost Stud farming in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and they all involve acquiring upgrades:

  • Core upgrades: Attract Studs. This allows you to collect Studs from further away, as opposed to running back to get them. You do need to acquire the first level of Speedy Sprint, Fast Build, Counter Cash, and Extra Health to get this perk. Likewise, you'll need Kyber Bricks if you want to level it up further.
  • Bounty Hunter upgrades: Hidden Bounty. When you're using a Bounty Hunter character, the enemies you defeat will drop Studs. This can also be upgraded, but you need Kyber Bricks.
  • Extras: Stud multipliers. Found in the Extras tab, these "cheats" require one Datacard each. The x2 multiplier costs 2 million Studs, whereas the x10 multiplier needs a whopping 384 million Studs. Thankfully, several multipliers can be active at any given point in time.

On your Holoprojector, you can buy Stud Multipliers, but these are expensive and cost Datacards. While you will want to unlock these as soon as you can to help bring in the Studs, you'll need to farm a ton before you can even afford to unlock these.

The most popular farming method, first posted by Grrae on YouTube, is on Coruscant in the Federal District. There are Walkers you can get in and use to easily blast any obstacles around the map, netting you tons of Studs. Coruscant will unlock in Episode I and the Walkers will appear after you've gotten a bit through Episode II. Once you unlock these elements, you can head to Coruscant in the free play mode to farm Studs.

If you've gotten as far as the first mission of Episode VI, you'll be able to use the Rancor instead of the Walkers, which is much faster and recommended.

If you don't have any Stud multipliers yet, this farming method will be slower, but since the structures around Coruscant respawn, you'll be able to afford the first few multipliers quickly.

You should also consider upgrading the "Attract Studs" ability as much as you can using Kyber Bricks to help make this farm easier. You can do this by going to the "upgrades" tab in your Holoprojector. This ability is a core upgrade, so you'll need to upgrade some other abilities that come before it first.

Stud farming method #1: City-wide destruction

Location: Coruscant – Federal District or Bespin – Cloud City

You'll travel to Coruscant – Federal District while playing Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Bespin – Cloud City is also a viable location, though it requires you to progress further into Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

In any case, you can do this farming method by riding any of the Walkers near the landing pads. Simply bulldoze every crate, pot, and obstacle along the way to earn the currency. After a short while, these objects should respawn. Also, you might want the Attract Studs upgrade so you don't keep running back and forth to pick up the cash.

Lastly, if you think the Walker is too slow, you could finish the first mission of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Doing so lets you purchase the Rancor as a playable character for 500,000 Studs. It moves faster than the Walker, and it can still smash through objects with ease.

Stud farming method #2: Echo Base Escape mission

Location: Hoth – Echo Base Escape

This method was posted by Reddit user BlackGirlsRockk. The only way to reach this level is by playing Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back as it's not available via Free Play. You'll have to progress further until you complete the battle in Hoth's snowfield (where Luke loops around the AT-ATs to make them trip).

You'll then get to control Han and company. Now, before the part where you encounter the first Imperial troopers, you should see two damaged doorways. Shoot either of these doorways to cause blue Studs to pop up.

If you want to AFK, you can wrap a rubber band around the right trigger button while aiming at a door. Moreover, it's better to use Chewbacca here since, unlike Han Solo, his weapon doesn't have a lot of recoil. That means you can come back hours later and he'd still be shooting the door instead of the ceiling.

Stud farming method #3: Ma Klounkee Most Foul sidequest

Location: Tatooine – Mos Eisley (Free Play)

You'll need to unlock Tatooine – Mos Eisley by playing Episode IV: A New Hope. Once that's done, switch to Free Play, and head to the plaza outside the Cantina. To the right of the entrance, you should see three Stormtroopers. They'll give you a sidequest called "Ma Klounkee Most Foul."

Ignore the objective, which requires you to go inside the Cantina to talk to witnesses. Instead, just shoot the three Stormtrooper NPCs. Even if they die, they'll continue to respawn. This is best used in conjunction with a Bounty Hunter character and with the Hidden Bounty upgrade active for more cash earnings.

We should warn you that entering the Cantina to finish the mission would cause these Stormtroopers to disappear for good. However, if you do get tired or you wish to do something else, you can just exit back to the main menu. They'll still be in this area as long as you don't enter the Cantina.
